Carry less, do more.

Knifemakers' Guild member Ed Halligan revolutionized everyday carry with the unique two-piece design of the original K.I.S.S.® (Keep. It. Super. Simple.). The K.I.S.S.® blade shape is Tanto-inspired—chisel-point grind on the front and flat on the backside—so that when the blade is closed onto its handle/frame, the precision fit effectively "seals" the cutting edge to the frame, even though it's exposed.

The new K.I.S.S.® features a brushed titanium nitride-coated stainless steel handle and blade that’s durable, easy to sharpen, and corrosion-resistant. Even better? The pocket clip doubles as a money clip to cut back on the pocket clutter.
  • K.I.S.S.® – Keep. It. Super. Simple.
  • Less Is More Innovative two-piece design with blade and frame
  • Easy To Maintain VG10 stainless steel blade is durable and takes an edge well
  • Easy Opening Thumb stud allows for fast opening with one hand
  • Simple Lock Integrated frame lock for a secure blade
  • Unique Utility Pocket clip doubles as a money clip

The second knifemaker to ever work with us, "Big Daddy K.I.S.S." knew his way around CRKT® headquarters and a 747. After years using tools as an aircraft mechanic, Ed founded Halligan Knives in 1985. He went on to earn a Mastersmith rating from the American Bladesmithing Society and invented the often imitated, never duplicated, legendary, K.I.S.S.® (Keep it Super Simple) knife series. Ed passed in 2014. His immeasurable contribution to knife-craft is greatly celebrated... and deeply missed.
