The warranty covers replacement parts, labor, and manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear from cutting tasks is covered, but damage from misuse like prying, pounding, throwing, or dropping is not covered. For warranty service, you'll need to return the complete knife with a warranty return form to our facility in Tualatin, Oregon.

CRKT knives are assisted opening, not switchblades - there's an important legal distinction. Our assisted opening mechanisms require you to manually start opening the blade to about 30 degrees before the spring activates. The blade also has a bias toward closing when not in use.
