T.J. was destined to be a car designer. Just as his career in automotive design started, his friend Bill Koenig of Koenig Knives intervened and everything shifted. Once he got a taste of knife design, he never looked back. So when he says, “engineered for performance,” he means it.

Lifelong adventurer Kaila Cumings grew up camping and hunting in the woods of rural New Hampshire. Kaila’s a custom knifemaker that works by hand at the forge and anvil, letting the metal guide her, and lives by the motto that there are no broken blades, only smaller knives.

Elmer spent plenty of time on the battlefield. These days, Elmer battles hot steel with a hammer as a blacksmith. He forges functional edged tools and brings over four decades of experience to the Forged By War™ program. Axes, froes, hatchets, and historical replicas, such as Viking axes, are his specialty.
